Public drunkenness

COAL TOWNSHIP - Police cited a man for public drunkenness for an incident at 10:59 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of West Lynn Street.

Officers were dispatched for an intoxicated male knocking on doors in the area. Charles Amos Troup III, 21, was found staggering down Water Street near Poplar Street, and showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance, police said. Troup told police he was homeless, but last lived in Shamokin.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - Todd M. Hummel, 49, of 124 E. Chestnut St., was cited by Shamokin Police Patrolman Raymond Siko II for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after allegedly being found lying in a public area on Terrace Avenue under the influence of alcohol at 5:47 p.m. Monday.

Siding damaged

UPPER PAXTON TOWNSHIP - Ronald Klinger, of Dalmatia, reported to state police at Lykens someone damaged the vinyl siding of a detached shed on a property he owns on Paxton Drive, Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County, between 3:35 p.m. May 5 and 6 p.m. May 6.
