Bank card theft

COAL TOWNSHIP - Levi Jacob Reigle, 23, of 1244 Chemung St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Christopher Lapotsky with theft for allegedly stealing a bank card from his girlfriend, Kaitlyn Klemick, and using it to withdraw $100 from her account at M&T Bank on April 14.

Marijuana charge

COAL TOWNSHIP - Patrolman Jason Adams has charged Eli Long, 23, of 1187 Bear Valley Road, Coal Township, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia involving an April 30 incident at Mulberry and Maple streets.

Police said Long possessed marijuana in a small metal container, a rolled marijuana cigarette and two glass smoking pipes.

Crash near mall

HUMMELS WHARF - Two people were injured Tuesday in a crash at the traffic light at the entrance to the Susquehanna Valley Mall and Walmart Supercenter on Routes 11-15.

State police at Selinsgrove said John Bickert, 48, of Shamokin, was driving a 1993 Ford south about 7 p.m. when he failed to stop for a red light. Bickert's vehicle struck a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan driven across the highway from Walmart toward the mall by Holly R. Kerstetter, 59, of Port Trevorton.

Bickert and a passenger in the van, Abigail Kerstetter, 20, of Port Trevorton, were injured and taken by ambulance to local hospitals. Holly Kerstetter was not injured, police said. An investigation continues.
