Public drunkenness
BUTLER TOWNSHIP - Kevin Ulrich, 26, of Paxinos, was cited by state police at Frackville for public drunkenness relating to an incident Saturday afternoon on State Run Road.
Police said Ulrich was heavily intoxicated and walked, knelt and fell onto the road at 3:40 p.m.
Two-vehicle crash
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:30 a.m. Thursday along Route 61 at the intersection with Old Country Club Road.
State police at Stonington report a 2005 Pontiac Montana, driven by Blain E. Clark, 71, of Paxinos, traveled across the oncoming lane of Route 61 and onto the road's shoulder to check his mailbox. When he went across the road, Clark's vehicle was struck from behind by a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Christopher D. Feaster, 32, of Sunbury. Both units traveled off the right side of Route 61 near Old Country Club Road.
Neither driver or Feaster's passenger, a 10-year-old female, was injured in the crash, and police cited Clark for a traffic violation.
Hit and run
SNYDERTOWN - Police are searching for a vehicle that damaged two parked cars in a crash at 3:15 a.m. Sunday on Snydertown Road near Mill Road.
State police say the unknown vehicle was traveling east on Snydertown Road while two other vehicles, a 2013 Ford Edge and a 2007 Dodge Ram, was parked at a home at 2000 Snydertown Road. Police said the driver lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the roadside and struck the back passenger side of the Ford Edge. The front driver's side of the Edge struck a tree and its rear drivers side struck the Ram.
The unknown vehicle then left the scene, traveling east on Route 61. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact state police at 570-286-5601.
One-vehicle crash
UPPER MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - A Leck Kill teen was not injured in a crash at 1:45 p.m. Friday on Schwaben Creek Road.
State police at Stonington said Jared Specht, 18, of Leck Kill, was traveling east on Schwaben Creek Road in the right lane while negotiating a downhill left curve. Specht's vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree with its front end.
Police cited Specht for driving too fast for road conditions.
No injuries in crash
RIVERSIDE - No one was injured in a crash at 10:25 a.m. Friday on Elysburg Road near Hower Road, Riverside.
State police at Stonington report a 2008 Mercury Milan, driven by Debra Carnuccio, 59, of Shamokin, was traveling west on Elysburg Road when the vehicle exited the lane of travel and entered the eastbound lane of Route 54. The Milan struck an embankment off the eastbound shoulder, and then spun counterclockwise, crossing both lanes of the road, and coming to rest on the westbound shoulder.
Carnuccio was not injured, but was cited by police for driving at an unsafe speed for road conditions.
