MOUNT CARMEL - Three people have been charged in connection with an Aug. 1 fight at Jake's Bar, 451 E. Avenue.

Jericho S. Linkchorst, 22, his mother, Carlene L. Halcovich, 53, both of 415 E. Avenue, Mount Carmel, and John J. Stelma, 63, of 118 N. Police said other patrons attempted to break up the fight and push Linkchorst out the door, but they were unable to do so.

According to witnesses, patron Jonathan Kranzel had his tooth knocked out by Halcovich, who punched him in the face while he was grabbed and held by Stelma.

After the fighting stopped, McGinley said Linkchorst walked over and took a swing at her before being stopped by Jordan Politza.
