Cameras stolen
SCHUYLKILL TOWNSHIP - State police at Frackville reported someone stole four Reconyx Trail cameras valued at $2,149.80 owned by Raymond Fayash, of Brockton, from a wooded area on Walnut Street north of Valley Road between Aug. 2 and Saturday.
Riders to be charged
COAL TOWNSHIP - Two people injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident Saturday night at the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA) will be charged by Coal Township police with trespassing and failure to wear a helmet or eye protection.
Police said Scott Oswald, 33, and his girlfriend, Tracey Delp, 26, both of 57 Seltzer Ave., Wolmersdorf, were riding on a 2011 Yamaha Raptor west at a high rate of speed at 7:35 p.m. when they crashed after hitting a mud puddle. Oswald, who was operating the vehicle, and Delp were thrown onto the ground.
Oswald suffered minor injuries, while Delp was knocked unconscious and later transported by AREA Services Ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Delp was admitted in fair condition, but was discharged Sunday, according to a nursing supervisor at Geisinger.
ATV operator discharged
DANVILLE - Roberto Rodriguez-Cruz, 33, of Mountville, who was injured in an ATV crash Saturday afternoon on Coal Hill in Zerbe Township and flown by Life Flight helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, was released from the hospital Sunday, according to a nursing supervisor.
Burglary
COAL TOWNSHIP - Tara Henz, 27, of 1435 W. Independence St., Coal Township, reported someone forced open her front door and stole approximately $4 in change from the kitchen area of her residence between 1 and 9 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the burglar also caused damage to the door frame.
