Vehicle theft
KULPMONT - Police here are investigating the theft of a 1995 Ford Ranger truck that was stolen from Kulpmont and later found on fire on an embankment in a wooded area near Reinhart FoodService on Industrial Park Road in Coal Township.
Patrolman Joshua Pastucka reported the vehicle was found on fire Thursday by Coal Township Patrolman David Sage. It was later determined the truck owned by a Kulpmont resident had been stolen. The vehicle was towed from the scene Saturday by Dave's Auto Body.
Pastucka said anyone with information about the stolen and burned vehicle should contact police at 570-373-1522.
