Retail theft

SELINSGROVE - Michelle Renee Header, 36, of Sunbury, and an unidentified 17-year-old from Sunbury were charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing a bluetooth speaker from Wal-Mart in Selinsgrove at 2:16 p.m. Wednesday.

State police said the pair fled to the Susquehanna Valley Mall, where they were apprehended. Header was sent to the Northumberland County Prison.

Signs stolen

IRISH VALLEY - Six metal A-frame warning signs were stolen from a construction site along Irish Valley Road between Route 61 and Badman's Hill Road sometime between 3 p.m. Friday and 4:30 a.m. Monday. The signs belong to PennDOT. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at Stonington at 570-286-5601.

Pickup crashes

GOWEN CITY - William J. Kulp Jr., 45, of Shamokin, suffered a minor injury after crashing a 1990 Dodge Dakota into an embankment along Route 125 in East Cameron Township Monday morning, according to state police at Stonington.

Police said Kulp was driving south near Upper Road about 6:20 a.m. when he lost control on a sharp right curve. He was wearing a seat belt, police said, and was cited with a summary traffic violation.

Harassment

SHAMOKIN - Brianna Hanford, 21, of 1002 1/2 E. Chestnut St., Sunbury, was cited twice for harassment by Patrolman Shane Mowery for punching Hope Lewis and a 16-year-old female in the face at Lewis' residence at 800 E. Chestnut St. at 2:14 p.m. Monday.

Police said Lewis suffered a scratch, while the teen had redness on her face.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - Tracy Schlagle, 34, of 32 S. Fifth St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for disorderly conduct for screaming and cursing at her sister, Stacy Schlagle, at 7:46 a.m. Monday at Turkey Hill Minit Market on West Lincoln Street, where the victim is employed.
