Simple assault
EAST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - Christopher Todd Long, 49, of Shamokin, has been cited with simple assault for an incident at 2:38 a.m. Sunday.
State police said Long was engaged in a confrontation with a 44-year-old female and a 16-year-old male and physically assaulted both victims. Long resisted arrest before being taken into custody.
Crash
JORDAN TOWNSHIP - Jeffrey R. Bingaman, 26, of Dornsife, was cited with failure to obey stop signs and yield signs after being involved in a one-vehicle accident at 9:58 p.m. Sunday.
State police said Bingaman was traveling east on Deppens Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and traveled across Cemetery Hill Road, colliding with an embankment and entering a field area. Bingaman then backed out of the field and onto Cemetery Hill Road. The vehicle stopped facing north on Cemetery Hill Road. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene due to the disabling front end damage sustained during the crash. Bingaman, who had been wearing his seat belt, sustained a minor facial injury.
Burglary
PORT TREVORTON - State police said someone broke into Shaffer's Soft Serve between 11 a.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday. The unknown actor stole approximately $374. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Selinsgrove.
Disorderly conduct
SELINSGROVE - Matthew Hackenberg, 29, of Winfield, Brittany Walburn, 24, of Winfield, and Karen Long, 53, of Selinsgrove, were charged with disorderly conduct in relation to incident at 12:47 p.m. Saturday.
State police said they arrived at a home in Salem Manor Court and found Hackenberg, Walburn and Long engaged in an argument about family issues, which upset the neighbors and caused a public inconvenience. Charges have been filed with the district magistrate.
DUI suspected
WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - Charges are pending against Wendy Lynn Haluska, 40, of Pottsville, who police suspect was driving under the influence at 9:26 p.m. Sunday.
State police said Haluska was pulled over for speeding. Police suspected she was under the influence, and Haluska was transported to Schuylkill Medical Center South for chemical tests to determine blood alcohol content. DUI charges will be filed at Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale's office pending those results.
