The following defendants were sentenced Monday in the Court of Common Pleas before the judge indicated:

Judge Charles Saylor

- Joseph Thomas Schwartz Jr., 50, of Mount Carmel, two years of intermediate punishment with the first 90 days on house arrest, fines and costs, prohibited from consuming alcohol, and must complete a minimum of 7 hours of group drug and alcohol education.

Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol relating to a 2012 crash in the 1500 block of Chestnut Street (Route 61) in Kulpmont.

- Michael Richard Wisnoskie, 21, of Locust Gap, 18 months supervised probation, fines and costs, must complete an alcoholic safety program, and prohibited from consuming alcohol.

Pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol involving incidents in 2012 and 2013 in Mount Carmel Township.

- Patricia Ann Zimmerman, 22, of Shamokin, 3 years supervised probation, fines and costs.

Pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and two counts of retail theft involving incidents in Shamokin and Coal Township in 2013.

- Brandon Ryan Reed, 20, of Shenandoah, 97 days to 23 1/2 months in Northumberland County Prison, given credit for 97 days previously served, fines and costs, prohibited from consuming alcohol, and must complete an alcohol highway safety program.

Pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy and driving under the influence of alcohol relating to a Feb. 12 incident at Willow and Wood streets in Mount Carmel Township.

- Travis C. Beam, 50, of Shenandoah, 6 months intermediate punishment with the first 30 days on house arrest, fines and costs.

Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol involving a June 3, 2013, incident in Ralpho Township.
