Criminal mischief

LITTLE MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - Eugene Zechman, 44, of Middleburg, reported to state police at Stonington someone placed metal pieces into the transmission of a John Deere log skidder, causing a malfunction, at a construction site on Dornsife Mountain Road sometime between 3 p.m. April 9 and 7 a.m. April 10.

Tailgate scratched

KULPMONT - Franklin Dunkle Sr., 56, of 725 Spruce St., Kulpmont, reported to state police at Stonington somone scratched the tailgate of his 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck Monday while it was parked near his residence. The vandalism caused $250 in damage.

Code violation

COAL TOWNSHIP - Ida M. Makowski, of 113 N. Berry St., Coal Township, was cited by township code enforcement officer Chris Petrovich for a solid waste violation. Petrovich said Makowski allowed garbage and indoor furniture to accumulate in her front and side yards.
