Vehicles collide
PAXINOS - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning along Snydertown Road in Shamokin Township.
State police at Stonington said Nicholas S. Aurand, 26, of Selinsgrove, drove a 2000 Mercury Cougar onto Snydertown Road and into the path of a 1995 Toyota Tacoma driven east by Joey R. Smith, 57, of Sunbury.
The crash occurred about 8:15 a.m., half of a mile west of Bottle Road.
Aurand and Smith were wearing seat belts, police said, while a passenger of Smith's, 27-year-old Joshua R. Smith, of Sunbury, was not.
Aurand was cited for a traffic violation, vehicle entering roadway.
Harassment
KULPMONT - Eric Eugene Earnest, 44, of 31 Logan St., Lewistown, was cited by Patrolman Patrick J. McAndrew for harassment after allegedly striking Isabel Miller, 37, of 1047 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, during a disturbance at Miller's residence at 6:32 p.m. Wednesday.
Drug case waived
SHAMOKIN - Debra Watkins, 46, of Scranton, waived to court charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana and criminal conspiracy involving a Dec. 20 incident on the grounds at SCI-Coal Township.
Watkins was charged by Trooper Wendy Keefer of state police at Stonington with attempting to deliver marijuana to inmate Kelvin Robertson in a balloon that she concealed on her body. Police said the balloon fell out after Watkins was ordered by a female correctional officer to cough during a search in a prison bathroom.
DUI
SHAMOKIN - Two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and charges of careless driving, a turn signal violation, a lighting violation and seat belt violation were filed by Trooper Justin Rosboschil of state police at Stonington against Brandon E. Reigle, 22, of 251 Fig Road, Shamokin.
The charges relate to a Jan. 25 traffic stop at the intersection of Route 61 and West Dewart Street in Shamokin.
Police said Reigle had a blood-alcohol content of .192 percent.
1-car crash
SELINSGROVE JUNCTION - A Sunbury woman escaped serious injury in a rollover crash early Thursday in Lower Augusta Township.
Adara L. Wickham, 23, was driving a 2009 Ford Focus east on Route 4017 near 779 Boyer Hill Road shortly before 6 a.m. when the vehicle slid on ice, causing her to lose control. The vehicle traveled across the oncoming lane and off the roadway, striking a ditch and rolling onto its driver side, according to state police at Stonington.
Wickham was wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury, police said.
She was issued a citation, driving a vehicle at safe speed.
Locker burglarized
PAXINOS - Someone broke into a single storage unit at BME Storage, near Routes 61 and 487, between Jan. 14 and Tuesday and stole two bins of tools and two bins of mining antiques and household items, according to state police at Stonington. Keys found
TREVORTON - A set of keys found Nov. 2 on the south side of Line Mountain Elementary School, Route 225, remained unclaimed as of Tuesday, according to state police at Stonington. The owner should call police at 570-286-5601.
