DUI
SUNBURY - Traci Ann Crone, 50, of Danville, faces a charge of driving under the influence stemming from a Nov. 8 traffic stop on Mile Post Road in Upper Augusta Township, state police at Stonington reported Sunday.
Crone was driving a 2010 Hyundai Elantra about 6:45 p.m. when a traffic stop was initiated by police.
Crash on I-80
MILTON - A 35-year-old Easton man escaped injury after the tractor-trailer he was driving Saturday on Interstate 80 drove off an embankment and overturned, state police at Milton reported Sunday.
Gregg Scott Hager fell asleep at the wheel, police said. The 1996 Kenworth T60 went off the south side of the roadway at mile marker 202.1, traveled down an embankment and flipped. About 363 feet of guide rail was damaged in the process. The vehicle was towed.
Jeep hits deer
WARRIOR RUN - A 30-year-old Trout Run man escaped injury Thursday after crashing into a deer on Interstate 180 in Delaware Township, state police at Milton reported Sunday.
Gregory E. Gies was driving a 2011 Jeep Wrangler west about 1/2 mile south of Eighth Street Drive when a deer crossed into his lane of travel. The Jeep collided with the animal with its left front.
The crash occurred about 9:35 p.m.
Gies was able to drive from the scene.
Mailbox stolen
MILTON - John David Slother reported to state police at Milton that someone stole his mailbox between July 13 and Wednesday that was placed at his property on Clemens Road in Delaware Township, north of Milton. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 570-524-2662.
Theft
DANVILLE - Purses and money were stolen Saturday from three vehicles parked at a sports facility near the Interstate 80 on/off ramps in Valley Township, Montour County.
State police at Milton said the thieves entered four vehicles between 2:40 p.m. and 4:20 p.m., breaking windows on two to gain access. The other two were unlocked. The vehicles were parked at McCracken and Indian Run roads.
One of the victims' credit cards was used at a known location, police said. An investigation continues.
Police identified the victims as Kenneth and Heather Williams, of Danville, Amanda S. Jacobs, of Northumberland, and Aimee J. Diehl, of Millville.
