Burglary
ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington are investigating a break-in at seven storage units at "10 Acre Storage" just off Route 890.
Police said locks were cut from the storage units and three sets of 50 uncirculated U.S. quarters, two sets of U.S. proof coins from 1968 to 2000, a gold snake ring, a gold Masonic ring with a blue stone, a gold Masonic ring with a red stone, miscellaneous stamps and knives were removed.
The burglary was committed between Nov. 6 and Thursday.
Police said the victims of the burglary are Jennifer Eileen Smerlick, 44, of Sunbury; Harvey Lynn Henninger, 40, of Shamokin; Richard Penrose Bingaman, 64, of Dornsife; Brian Ray Updegrove, 39, of Northumberland, and Diann Louise Turner, 62, of Sunbury.

Hit and run
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - Brian C. Herb, 41, of 25 S. Gold St., Shamokin, has been charged by Trooper Daniel Wilk of state police at Stonington with hit and run, driving under suspension, following a vehicle too closely, careless driving and failure to give information and render aid in connection with an Oct. 29 accident on Route 61 near Tulip Road.
LCB violations
WILLIAMSPORT - Two area licensed establishments were cited Nov. 7 by the Williamsport district office of the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.
Locust Gap Fire Company, 266 Marshall St., was cited for failing to have a board-approved manager complete RAMP training within 180 days of the board's approval of the appointment. The violation occurred between Sept. 22 and Sept. 30.
Thomas-Brill Veterans Home Association, 2 Shikellamy Ave., Sunbury, was cited for failing to operate bingo in conformity with Title 10 of the bingo law and failing to operate small games of chance in conformity with the Small Games of Chance Act and Title 61 of the Pennsylvania code. The violation occurred Sept. 4.
The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
The district office in Williamsport is in charge of enforcing liquor laws and related provisions at more than 863 establishments in Bradford, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga and Union counties.
In October, 65 complaints were received by the office and 12 licensed establishments were inspected for age compliance. Five establishments were cited for selling alcohol to minors.
Sixteen violation letters and 19 warning letters were issued for violations of liquor laws and 18 citations were issued for underage drinking.
There were a total of six other significant violations including furnishing alcohol to minors, sales without a license and seizures.
