Key found
COAL TOWNSHIP - A Ford vehicle key was found at about 4 p.m. Wednesday on Sterling Street and turned into the Coal Township Police Department.
The owner of the key can claim it by contacting police at 644-0333.
Curfew violation
SHAMOKIN - Cpl. Jarrod Scandle cited a 15-year-old Shamokin area boy for a curfew violation after he was found in the 100 block of West Lincoln Street shortly after 1 a.m. Oct. 12.
False identification
SHAMOKIN - Cpl. Darwin Tobias III has charged Khaalid Abudul Muhammad, 20, of 235 W. Willow St., Shamokin, with false identification to law enforcement authorities, disorderly conduct and underage drinking involving an incident at 2:10 a.m. Nov. 1 in the first block of East Independence Street.
Police said Muhammad provided a false date of birth to police and was consuming alcohol inside Tiffany's Lounge. He also is accused of shoving a girl into garbage cans and a parking meter and attempting to grab her keys, causing injury to her fingers.
Breaks window
SHAMOKIN - David Kashner, 41, of 1125 W. Montgomery St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Nathan Rhodes with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct for allegedly throwing a brick through a window at the residence of Alicia Coates, 454 S. Pearl St., Oct. 19.
Theft charges
SHAMOKIN - Kyle Yeager, 22, of 421 E. Dewart St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman William Zalinski with theft and receiving stolen property.
According to a criminal complaint filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III, Yeager is accused of stealing $360 in cash from Turkey Hill Minit Market at 501 N. Second St. on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 while he was employed at the business.
Camera card stolen
SHAMOKIN - James Alan Hile, 48, of 847 W. Walnut St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with stealing a Fuji camera card valued at $50 belonging to Mark Gemberling.
Police said Hile stole the card from a photo-processing machine at CVS Pharmacy in downtown Shamokin on Oct. 23.
Steals cigarettes
SHAMOKIN - Joseph E. Carner, 29, of 125 Academy St., Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. Jarrod Scandle for retail theft for allegedly stealing a pack of cigarettes valued at $6.34 from Turkey Hill Minit Market, 501 N. Second St., at 12:49 a.m. Oct. 23.
