Bag found

SUNBURY - A travel bag was found on Route 4012, approximately 1/4 of a mile from Sunbury, between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Monday. Anyone wishing to claim the item is asked to call state police at Stonington at 286-5601.

Public drunkenness

SHAMOKIN - Paul F. Orlando, 57, of 405 E. Sunbury St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman William Zalinski for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct for allegedly smashing beer bottles on the pavement outside his residence and taunting passing motorists at 6:14 p.m. Saturday.

Ordinance violations

SHAMOKIN - Donna Conner, 56, of 1000 N. Orange St., Shamokin, and Philip Raker, 36, of 519 S. Anthracite St., Shamokin, were cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for violating the city's abandoned vehicle ordinance.

Police said Conner's vehicle had an expired inspection and registration while parked at Cameron and Orange streets July 31. Police reported Raker's vehicle had an expired inspection while parked in the 600 block of West Mulberry Street Aug. 10.

Curfew violation

SHAMOKIN - Cpl. Darwin Tobias III cited a 17-year-old city male for a curfew violation in connection with an incident at 1:06 a.m. Monday at Market and Independence streets.

Anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited from being on city streets after 11 p.m.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - Justin Fisher, 22, of 911 N. Vine St., Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. Darwin Tobias III for disorderly conduct after he ran from police and hid in the bushes at Sunbury and Shamokin streets at 2:21 a.m. Sunday.

Public drunkenness

SHAMOKIN - Cpl. Darwin Tobias III cited William Azbell, 52, of 614 N. Shamokin St., Apt. 206, Shamokin, for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct involving a disturbance at 5:36 a.m. Monday at 425 N. Shamokin St., Apt. 4.

Police reported Azbell removed an air conditioner from the ground floor of the apartment, stuck his head in the window and yelled.

Harassment

SHAMOKIN - Jason Russell, 27, of 409 N. Rock St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Nathan Rhodes for harassment and disorderly conduct relating to an Aug. 13 disturbance at Mid-Town Car Wash on North Fifth Street.

Police said Russell allegedly hit Steven Moore, 42, of 1628 W. Montgomery St., Coal Township, with a soda bottle, prompting Moore to spray him with mace.

Squeals tires

SHAMOKIN - Sheldon A. Derck, 49, of 133 Academy St., Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. Jarrod Scandle for squealing his tires at 9:11 p.m. Friday at Water and Market streets.

Underage drinking

KULPMONT - Cody Shustack, 20, of Kulpmont, was cited by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for underage drinking, drinking while tending bar and escape relating to an incident at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 3 at the Jan Sobieski Society, 35 S. 10th Street.

Cited

SHAMOKIN - Three establishments were cited for violations by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.

The End Zone Bar and Grill, 216 N. 10th St., Kulpmont, was cited for a loudspeaker violation Aug. 22 for an incident that occurred April 4.

Quinny's Pub, 300 S. Market St., Shamokin, was cited Aug. 29 for selling liquor and/or malt or brewed beverages to a minor on July 5.

Marion Heights Fire Company, 418 Warsaw St., Marion Heights, was cited Aug. 29 for falsifying records.
