Altercation

SHAMOKIN - Two individuals were cited by Shamokin City Police Patrolman Raymond Siko following an altercation at 314 N. Rock St. at 3:30 p.m. June 10.

Police cited Levi Reigle, 21, of 1244 Chemung St., Coal Township, for criminal mischief after he allegedly punched a hole in the wall and smashed a flower planter inside the residence. He is also accused of spitting on and shoving Alexa Sandri, 24, of 314 N. Rock St.

Sandri was cited for harassment after she allegedly slapped and grabbed Reigle by the neck, causing redness.

Thefts

COAL TOWNSHIP - Police are investigating two separate break-ins on the Big Mountain Road.

The first break-in was at a house trailer between 6 p.m. Wednesday and noon Thursday. A TV, a VCR/DVD player and some additional items were removed from the trailer, police said.

The second break-in was at a home between the evening hours of June 9 and the morning hours Saturday. Police said a variety of small household appliances were removed.

Anyone with information regarding either incident is asked to call Coal Township Police at 644-0333.

Public drunkenness

SHAMOKIN - A 16-year-old Shamokin male was cited for criminal trespass and two counts of public drunkenness following an incident in the 600 block of Commerce Street at 11:50 p.m. Friday.

Police say the male entered a home uninvited on Commerce Street, demanding a cigarette and refusing requests to leave. He was later found on South Pearl Street in an intoxicated state.

Curfew violation

SHAMOKIN - Three males, a 15-year-old from Shamokin, a 15-year-old from Lititz and a Shamokin male, no age given, were all cited by Shamokin City Police Patrolman Scott Weaver for violating Shamokin's curfew ordinance after being found on Shakespeare Street at 3:20 a.m. Sunday.
