Hit-and-run crash
UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington continue to investigate a hit-and-run crash along Sunbury Street at the intersection of Black Mill Road in Upper Augusta Township.
Police say sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday, an unknown vehicle traveled north on Black Mill Road across both lanes of traffic on Snydertown Road and left the north berm, The vehicle continued to travel north up an embankment through shrubbery, and then hit a utility pole.
The vehicle then backed up onto Snydertown Road and fled the scene, heading west toward Sunbury. Police say the vehicle, believed to be a small black SUV or truck, sustained heavy front-end damage, and left behind the front bumper and traces of oil.
