Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN - Todd Hummel, 47, of 124 E. Chestnut St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening to hit Matthew Milbrand with a snow shovel at 8:10 p.m. Thursday at 128 E. Chestnut St.
No injuries
RUSH TOWNSHIP - Police say no one was injured when a deer and a car collided at 8:37 p.m. Sunday on Route 54.
State police at Stonington said a 2000 Ford Escort, driven by Bridgette McPeak, 48, of 346 S. Oak St., Mount Carmel, was traveling east on Route 54 when a deer ran in front of her vehicle. The Escort struck the deer, causing minor front end damage to the vehicle. McPeak wasn't injured.
She was wearing her seat belt and the airbags deployed.
Couple cited
SHAMOKIN - Tiffany Ann Benelisha, 30, of 1013 N. Franklin St., Shamokin, and her live-in boyfriend, Gary Cook, 32, were cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for disorderly conduct for allegedly screaming and cursing at each other at 7 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of North Franklin Street.
Underage drinking
RUSH TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington said approximately 25 juveniles will be charged with underage drinking after the discovery of alcohol at a post-prom party at 5:30 a.m. Sunday at 118 Elysburg Road. Police say the incident is under investigation.
Public drunkenness
COAL TOWNSHIP - David Weaver, 37, of Coal Township, was cited for public drunkenness by police following an incident at 1:04 a.m. Saturday after a resident reported seeing him stumbling through the 1200 block of West Arch Street on both the sidewalk and roadway. He was found by police passed out sitting on the shoulder of the roadway in the 1300 block of West Water Street.
