Info wanted

SHAMOKIN - Shamokin City Police is looking for information in reference to an assault that occurred at 7:25 p.m. Friday in front of the Ming Guan Restaurant, Independence Street.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 648-5708. All callers may remain anonymous.

Harassment

KULPMONT - Borough police patrolman Shane Reamer cited Katrina Marie Picarella, 25, of 661 Pine St., Kulpmont, for harassment following an incident at 1430 Chestnut St., at 7:25 p.m. Jan. 23. Police said Picarella was screaming and pounding on the door of a residence occupied by Katherine Fitzpatrick.

Curfew violation

SHAMOKIN - Two Shamokin females, a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old, were cited by Shamokin Police Patrolman Scott Weaver for violating Shamokin's curfew ordinance after being seen by police at 1:35 a.m. Sunday in the area of Shamokin and Chestnut streets.

Pedestrian hurt

MOUNT CARMEL - A borough woman sustained an injury when an Atlas woman allegedly ran over her foot while driving away from an argument in the 300 block of North Vine Street Monday afternoon.

Heather Frank, 28, of 331 N. Vine St., told police Jill Fisher, 34, of 477 W. Saylor St., Atlas, drove over her right foot after the two argued, according to the police.

The vehicle was stopped by Mount Carmel Township officer David Stamets in the 400 block of West Saylor Street, Atlas. Fisher was detained for suspicion of DUI and was transported to Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital for chemical testing.

Charges against Fisher are pending.

Frank was treated and released from an area hospital.
