More charges
KELLY TOWNSHIP - Additional charges have been filed against a Watsontown woman accused of stealing customers' banking information to pay her own debts.
State police at Milton said three additional people discovered their checking accounts had been compromised by Peggy Sue Netzband, 48, while she was employed by a pet grooming and kennel business in this Union County township.
Police said Netzband allegedly took $1,658 from a Lewisburg man's account, $1,000 from a Mifflinburg woman's account and $1,600 from a Berwick woman's account.
Netzband was charged for a Dec. 13 incident during which she allegedly used banking information from Cammy Sue Guffey, of New Columbia, to make a $1,684.83 payment to Ford Motor Credit.
The total amount stolen from the four victims is $5,943.
Police said Netzband will be charged with three felony counts of identity theft and a misdemeanor theft charge.
Curfew violation
SHAMOKIN - A 17-year-old Shamokin male was cited by Patrolman Raymond Siko II for a curfew violation relating to an incident at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sunbury and Shamokin streets.
Harassment
SHAMOKIN - Shannon Marie Shaw, 25, of 447 S. Harrison St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for harassment for allegedly grabbing Jewelyssa Johnson by the arm and neck, causing scratches.
Police said the disturbance occurred at 5:16 p.m. Friday at Shaw's residence.
Scattering rubbish
COAL TOWNSHIP - Robert Kramer III, 25, of Coal Township, was cited by Patrolman Joshua Wynn for allegedly depositing numerous bags of household trash along Bear Valley Road in the third patch of Bear Valley between Saturday and Tuesday.
Driver escapes injury
LOWER MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - George W. Sweitzer IV, 33, of 101 Elm St., Selinsgrove, escaped injury in a weather-related accident Wednesday morning at the intersection of Route 225 and Hepner Road.
State police at Stonington reported Sweitzer was driving a 2008 Honda Civic south on Route 225 at 5:30 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, which traveled off the southbound shoulder, went into a ditch and continued to travel south before coming to rest against a shed.
The car sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Keller's Towing.
Sweitzer, who was wearing a seat belt, will be cited, police said.
No injuries
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington reported no injuries occurred as a result of a weather-related crash Wednesday morning on Route 61 near Ghezzi's Restaurant.
Police said David R. High, 55, of 20 N. Sheridan St., Apt. 110, Coal Township, was driving a blue 2006 Mercury Montego north at 5:27 a.m. when he lost control of the car, which traveled off the southbound shoulder and struck a tree.
Police said High, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, but will be cited.
His car was towed by Paul's Auto Body.
