Drunk in public
SHAMOKIN - Heather M. Nolter, 26, of 622 Hillside Ave., was cited for public drunkenness by Shamokin City Police Cpl. Jarrod Scandle after being found in an intoxicated state in the area of Market and Independence Streets at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
Dogs running loose
SHAMOKIN - Shawn Bowers, 44, of 334 S. Fifth St., was cited by Shamokin City Police Patrolman Mark Costa with violating Shamokin's animal ordinance after police said he allowed his two dogs to run at large and dig under a fence to gain entry into the neighbor's yard at 8 p.m. Friday.
Liquor law violation
MONTOURSVILLE - The Garden Terrace, 160 S. Market St., Elysburg, was cited May 28 by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for failing to return its liquor license after closing for more than 15 consecutive days between Aug. 31 and Jan. 30.
Drunk in public
SHAMOKIN - Louis Parakowski, 18, of 1118 Chemung St., Coal Township, was cited for public drunkenness by Shamokin City Police Chief Darwin Tobias after he was found in an intoxicated state in the area of Spruce and Pearl streets at 10:05 p.m. on May 26.
Retail theft
SHAMOKIN - Brian Tehansky Jr., 22, of 344 S. Case St., was cited twice for retail theft after allegedly stealing two cartons of cigarettes from the Turkey Hill Minit-Market on Lincoln Street at 12:31 a.m. May 13, and 1:51 a.m. May 2. The total amount of loss in each theft was $131.58.
