Drug paraphernalia
ZERBE TOWNSHIP - Jonathan Robert Christ, 23, of 1350 W. Montgomery St., Coal Township, and Ryan James Thomas, 24, of 1213 W. Walnut St., Coal Township, were charged by Trooper Thomas Leib of state police at Stonington with possession of drug paraphernalia relating to an Aug. 12 incident along Route 2044, approximately one-half mile south of Trevorton.
Thomas also was charged with driving with a suspended registration, failure to carry his driver's license with him and failure to wear a seat belt.
Theft charges
PAXINOS - Kevin Robert Reeves, 44, of 51 First St., Windsor, was charged by Trooper Marc Yemzow of state police at Stonington with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
According to a criminal complaint, Reeves is accused of stealing a Sears 12-horsepower lawnmower valued at $350 from private property along Irish Valley Road on Aug. 3.
Harassment
SHAMOKIN - Cpl. Darwin Tobias III charged Matthew Ryan Milbrand, 20, of 128 E. Chestnut St., Shamokin, with harassment and disorderly conduct involving Aug. 15 incidents in the 200 block of West Mulberry Street.
Police reported Milbrand allegedly threatened to harm Whitney Bostian and Glenn E. Masser after chasing them in his vehicle and cutting them off twice. In addition to yelling at both victims, Milbrand allegedly kicked and punched the windows on Masser's vehicle.
Police said the incidents occurred shortly before 9 p.m.
Endangers children
SHAMOKIN - Tracy Tobias, 35, of 4807 Upper Road, Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman William Zalinski with two counts of endangering the welfare of children relating to incidents between May 1 and July 9 at 906 E. Chestnut St.
Police reported Tobias left her four children unsupervised in a home unfit for human habitation. Police said Tobias also was unaware of her 5-year-old autistic son's whereabouts for approximately two hours on July 9. Police said Tobias' son left the residence and walked about six blocks, where he was discovered by neighbors.
DUI
COAL TOWNSHIP - Shirley J. Kessler, 46, of 344 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, was charged by Patrolman Christopher Lapotsky with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and careless driving relating to an accident at 7:24 a.m. June 19 on Route 61 near East End Auto.
Police said Kessler had diazepam, nordiazepam, alprazolam and oxycodone in her blood system.
Drug charges
SHAMOKIN - Richard James Giedosh Jr., 21, of 702 Bear Valley Ave., Shamokin, was charged by Cpl. Darwin Tobias III with possession of carisoprodol, possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and a red light violation.
The charges relate to a vehicle stop at 12:20 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 200 block of West Chestnut Street.
Marijuana possession
SHAMOKIN - Daniel Gustitus, 54, of 401 N. Rock St., Apt. 1, was charged by Patrolman William Zalinski with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia relating to an incident that occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Aug. 18 at his apartment.
