Criminal mischief
MOUNT CARMEL - A 16-year-old male from Ashland was charged by Lt. Christopher Buhay with criminal mischief for causing damage to an entrance door at Compass Academy, 30 W. Third St., at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 18.
Police said the juvenile kicked the door, causing the glass to shatter.
Disorderly conduct
MOUNT CARMEL - Lt. Christopher Buhay cited Jocelyn N. Wywadis, 25, of 351 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, and Colin Wasilewski, 21, of 809 Oneida St., Shamokin, for disorderly conduct involving a fight in the area of Seventh and Oak streets at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 7.
Police said Wasilewski also was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Harassment
MOUNT CARMEL - Danielle Freitag, 27, of 18 S. Locust St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman William Adamski for harassment and disorderly conduct relating to a disturbance at 9 a.m. Jan. 6 at her residence.
Retail theft
MOUNT CARMEL - Ronald A. Willis, 26, of 67 Springside St., Locust Gap, was cited by Patrolman William Adamski for retail theft for stealing merchandise from the State Liquor Store, 136 S. Oak St., at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17.
Harassment
MOUNT CARMEL - Nathan Olah, 25, of 406 E. Sixth St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Lt. Christopher Buhay for harassment involving a Jan. 7 disturbance at his residence in which he's accused of kicking Sarah Britton, 19, of Shamokin, causing an injury.
Driver cited
UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - Michael Mensch, 23, of Danville, was cited by Trooper Todd Leiby of state police at Stonington for failing to drive in a single lane relating to a one-car accident Saturday night on Snydertown Road.
Police reported Mensch was driving a 1993 Subaru Impreza east at 7:30 p.m. when he approached a 90-degree bend in the road at an unsafe speed and crashed head-on into a rock embankment off the north side of the road before coming to rest.
Mensch and his passenger, Tyler Davis, 24, of Danville, escaped injury.
