Robbery

MOUNT CARMEL - A 17-year-old Shenandoah female was charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault, criminal mischief, harassment and criminal conspiracy by borough police Patrolman Justin Stelma after an incident at 1 a.m. Dec. 8 in the 00 block of North Maple Street.

One-vehicle crash

UNION TOWNSHIP - A Sunbury man was not injured in a crash at 2:39 a.m. Saturday on the Susquehanna Trail near South Main Street.

State police at Selinsgrove say a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by Willie M. Hay II, 21, of Sunbury, was traveling south on the Susquehanna Trail when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to hit a house on the right side of Routes 11 and 15 south. The Crown Victoria was disabled in the crash.

Hay was not injured but police cited him for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Juvenile drug charges

MOUNT CARMEL - Police Chief Todd Owens charged a 17-year-old Shamokin male with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 in the 00 block of West Third Street.

Paraphernalia

MOUNT CARMEL - A 17-year-old Kulpmont male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Chief Todd Owens following an incident in the 00 block of West Third Street at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10.

Harassment

MOUNT CARMEL - Two individuals, Claire Lichty, 27, and Michael Laskowski Jr., 37, both of 310 S. Chestnut St., were cited for harassment by police Patrolman Michael Pitcavage after a domestic dispute at their residence at 3 p.m. Dec. 29.

Police said the two were cited for striking each other during the incident, but Laskowski was taken into custody and transported to Northumberland County Prison on a probation violation.
