SHAMOKIN - Two defendants pleaded guilty Tuesday to various offenses and were ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay fines and costs.
- Kevin J. Stouffer, 26, of 104 N. Poplar St., Coal Township, was sentenced to one year supervised probation and ordered to pay a $200 fine plus court costs after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct Tuesday.
He was charged by Coal Township Cpl. Terry Ketchem Jr. after a June 17 incident at the Plaza at Coal Township.
Charges of simple assault and harassment were withdrawn.
- Jordan L. Poplaskie, 24, of 3072 Upper Road, Shamokin, was ordered to pay a $200 fine plus court costs after pleading guilty to a citation for disorderly conduct.
Poplaskie was charged by Coal Township Police Patrolman Edward Purcell Jr. in relation to an Aug. 9 incident at Maple and Poplar streets.
A misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct was withdrawn.
