DUI
COAL TOWNSHIP - Brian Drust, 30, of Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Jason Adams with driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Nov. 23 accident in the 900 block of West Arch Street.
Police said Drust had a blood-alcohol content of .30 percent.
Terroristic threats
COAL TOWNSHIP - Jason McGinn, 35, of 1000 W. Mulberry St., Coal Township, has been charged by Cpl. Joshua Wynn with assaulting his wife, Bernadette Christman, 39, at 10:35 p.m. Thursday at their home.
Police said McGinn allegedly slapped his wife, grabbed her by the throat and shoved her, causing a wrist injury. He also is accused of threatening to kill her.
McGinn was taken into custody and placed in a holding cell at Northumberland County Prison, Sunbury. He was arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Friday by on-call Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment and committed to prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN - Stephen A. Thompson, 24, of 173 E. Dewart St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Nathan Rhodes for disorderly conduct involving a fight at Tiffany's Lounge, 58 E. Independence St., at 12:43 a.m. Nov. 20.
Police reported Thompson knocked over bar stools and threw one of them over the bar.
Curfew violations
SHAMOKIN - Patrolman Scott Weaver cited a 16-year-old Shamokin male and a 12-year-old city boy for a curfew violation relating to an incident at 1:36 a.m. Sunday at Wendy's in downtown Shamokin.
Criminal mischief
COAL TOWNSHIP - Police here reported someone broke off a door handle on the passenger side of a 1999 Toyota Avalon between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 4 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of West Walnut Street.

Aggravated assault
LYKENS - Harold Zulauf, 26, of Herndon, has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly attempting to assault a state police trooper at the Lykens barracks at 10:55 p.m. Saturday.
Police said Zulauf resisted arrest and engaged in a physical altercation with the trooper, who was not identified by police. The trooper escaped injury.
Zulauf was taken into custody and transported to Dauphin County Judicial Center.
Theft charges
MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - Patrolman Brian Carnuccio has charged Matthew C. Santangelo, 58, of 315 W. Saylor St., Atlas, with theft and receiving stolen property.
According to police, Santangelo stole a $150 battery charger and a 50-foot air hose valued at $100 from a property along Route 61 in Atlas owned by Henry "Rick" Catino.
Santangelo was arraigned Friday morning by on-call Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III and committed to Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
Simple assault
MILTON - Dustin Heddings, 23, of Watsontown, was arraigned Friday morning by on-call Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III on charges of simple assault and harassment involving a disturbance on Broadway Street Thanksgiving.
Police said Heddings is accused of striking Amanda Brooking in the face, causing a bloody nose. Police said the disturbance occurred at 8:18 p.m.
Heddings was committed to Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
