Two injured
LOWER MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - Two people were injured Friday night when a vehicle struck an embankment off Route 147 after the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
State police at Stonington reported Christina L. Young, 37, of Dalmatia, was driving a 2009 Volkswagen GTI north at 8:30 p.m. when she lost control after swerving to avoid striking a deer, causing the vehicle to hit an embankment.
Young escaped injury, but two passengers, Kevin L. Young, 37, and a 6-year-old girl, both of Dalmatia, were injured and reportedly transported by Elizabethville Ambulance to Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Harassment
LOCUSTDALE - Michael F. Kroh, 31, of Locustdale, faces charges of harassment and disorderly conduct relating to a disturbance at 2:15 p.m. Friday at 45 Middle St.
State police at Bloomsburg reported Kroh is accused of shoving an unidentified 44-year-old female before leaving the residence. The victim suffered a minor scratch above her right eye.
