Bad check
ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - Donna Carl, 38, of 238 S. Sixth St., Shamokin, was cited by Trooper Mark Adams of state police at Stonington for issuing a bad check in the amount of $329.58 to Sunbury Animal Hospital on April 13.
Teen injured
UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington reported a 17-year-old Sunbury female suffered a minor injury in a one-car accident Thursday morning on Mile Post Road.
Police said the teen was driving a 1995 Dodge Neon south at 6:30 a.m. when she lost control of her car, which traveled across the road and struck an embankment with its left front end. The auto then traveled along the embankment before coming back onto the road on its right side in the northbound lane. The vehicle rolled back onto its wheels and struck the embankment again before coming to rest.
Police did not identify the driver because of her age.
Radiators removed
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington are investigating a burglary at a barn near 1744 Shamrock Road owned by Frank Leroy Martz, 59, of 231 Kaboodle Road, Danville.
Police said thieves removed four cast iron radiators between Sept. 13 and Thursday.
Condition updates
DANVILLE - Jillian Yackera, 32, of 225 A St., Girardville, who suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning at the intersection of Route 61 and the entrance to Walmart Supercenter, remained in serious condition Sunday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Yacekera's boyfriend, John Weidensaul, 39, of the same address, who was the driver of the Dodge Stratus involved in the accident, was discharged from Geisinger on Sunday after being admitted in fair condition, according to a nursing supervisor.
Furnishing alcohol
SUNBURY - Christopher James Johnson, 22, of 23 S. Third St., Sunbury, was charged by Trooper James Yankovich of state police at Stonington with furnishing alcohol to minors at his residence Sept. 19.
Medication stolen
MAYBERRY TOWNSHIP - Jason Michael Brown, 28, of 360 Sharp Ridge Road, told state police at Stonington that someone removed prescription medication from his upstairs bathroom Wednesday or Thursday.
