Scooter stolen

COAL TOWNSHIP - James Coleman III, of 1508 W. Arch St., told police someone stole a gas-powered Razor scooter from the front of his residence between 5 and 10:15 p.m. Tuesday. The scooter is red with a black seat with duct tape on the gas tank. Anyone with information is asked to contact Coal Township police at 570-644-0333.

Drug offenses

ATLAS - Bryan Scott Shedaker, 30, of Pittsburgh, was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police with hindering apprehension, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of a controlled substance relating to a June 10 incident at 149 E. Saylor St.

Police reported Shedaker was found in possession of a glass smoking device, a clear light bulb containing burnt residue, several clear and blue Ziploc bags commonly used to package illegal substances, a black travel case with several syringes and a clear plastic container with black electrical tape around it and a clear liquid inside it.

Police said Damien Michael Slovick, of 149 E. Saylor St., Atlas, was previously charged with the same offenses. An arrest warrant has been issued for Kaitlyn Ann Else, of 731 Scott St., Trevorton, in connection with the same incident.

Stalking

COAL TOWNSHIP - Melissa Sulick, 48, of 155 Alpha Ave., Elysburg, has been charged by Coal Township police with two counts of stalking and one count of harassment involving two criminal complaints.

Sulick is charged by Patrolman Chad Yoder with making seven telephone calls to Michael Timco, of 817 W. Independence St., Coal Township, and arriving at his home between Aug. 29 and Wednesday.

Sulick also is charged by Cpl. Terry Ketchem Jr. with stalking Timco by traveling to and from his residence to Maine Fire Company and waiting for him Thursday.

The defendant was arraigned Friday by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III and committed to Northumberland County Prison on $2,000 bail on all charges.
