Harassment
COAL TOWNSHIP - Jason Mirack, 39, of 1234 W. Spruce St., was cited by police for disorderly conduct and harassment after allegedly intentionally spitting on the vehicle of his neighbor, George Zalar, of 1223 W. Spruce St., at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Zalar told police that his vehicle was spit on during the early morning hours several times in the past.
Retail theft
SHAMOKIN - Stephen Smith, 35, of 249 S. Franklin St., was cited by Shamokin Police Patrolman First Class Scott Weaver for allegedly taking an energy drink from the Dollar General store Aug. 26 and concealing it in his pocket, but telling a store clerk he put it back on the shelf.
Simple assault
SHAMOKIN - Stephen Kei Chamberlain, 22, of 392 Overlook Blvd., Shamokin, is charged by Cpl. Jarrod Scandle with simple assault and harassment. Chamberlain is accused of punching Jeffrey Klinger in the face, causing injury. The two were engaged in an argument about 6:40 p.m. Sept. 16 inside 1015 N. Franklin St., according to police.
