Flag stolen

KLINGERSTOWN - Connie Mae Wolfe, 59, of 512 Pumpkin Center Road, told state police at Stonington that someone stole an ornamental flag and a flag post from her home in Upper Mahanoy Township between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday. Trooper Marc C. Yemzow asks that anyone with information call police at 570-286-5601.

Box tossed

SUNBURY - Ashlee Kay Garman, 27, of 319 Johnson Road, is accused of throwing a box at a 39-year-old man during a domestic dispute inside her home about 7:40 p.m. Friday. She will be charged with harassment, according to Trooper Marc C. Yemzow, state police at Stonington.

Vehicle violations

KULPMONT - Aubrey E. Utt, 27, of 1232 Scott St., Kulpmont, was charged by Patrolman David Tomtishen with driving with an altered plate, driving with an expired registration and driving without insurance relating to an Aug. 26 vehicle stop at Ninth and Chestnut streets.

Retail theft

COAL TOWNSHIP - Corena J. Reid, 42, of 109 W. Commerce St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Matthew Hashuga with retail theft for stealing $28.32 worth of merchandise June 3 from Walmart Supercenter.

PFA violation

LOCUST GAP - David Allen Sadusky, 34, of 502 McKnight St., Gordon, was charged by Patrolman David Stamets Jr. with violating a protection from abuse order filed by his estranged wife, Amy Sadusky.

Police said the defendant violated the order by going to his wife's home at 269 Main St., Locust Gap, on Aug. 11.

Stolen from Navy vehicle

MONROE TOWNSHIP - State police at Selinsgrove report that sometime between 3 p.m. Sept. 5 and 2 p.m Sept. 7, someone entered a government vehicle owned by the U.S. Navy that was parked outside the Susquehanna Valley Mall and removed a Garmin GPS, phone charger and an auxiliary from it.

Code violations

COAL TOWNSHIP - George Atiyeh, of Mount Carmel, received four citations from township code enforcement officer Chris Petrovich Monday for violating various codes at a property he owns at 1255 Pulaski Avenue.

Petrovich reports Atiyeh was cited for failing to have an occupancy permit for the location, reporting a change in occupants to the township with 10 days of change, for having high brush, grass and weeds and for having indoor furniture outdoors on the front porch.

Trashes apartment

ATLAS - Justin M. Terway, 22, formerly of 105 W. Girard St., Apt. E, Atlas, has been charged with trashing his former apartment and stealing two radiators in March.

Terway is charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Chief Brian Hollenbush with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. Police said the apartment and radiators are owned by Kirsten Knepp.

Police reported Terway and his live-in girlfriend, Michelle Levengood, who was previously arrested on the same charges, trashed their former apartment and removed the radiators before selling them for $107.10 at SOS Metals Inc. on March 13. Police said total damage to the apartment is $5,940. Terway and Levengood are responsible for splitting the cost of the total damage.

Terway was taken into custody by Northumberland County deputy sheriffs Wednesday on a bench warrant in Sullivan County and placed in a holding cell at the county prison. He was arraigned by video Thursday morning by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones and committed in lieu of $30,000 cash bail.
