Doctor punched

DANVILLE - State police at Milton have charged Latrina Kilpatrick, 28, of Danville, with aggravated assault and simple assault for punching Dr. Sarv Gupta, 84, of Danville, in the head multiple times at Danville State Hospital at 9:40 a.m. Aug. 19.

Public drunkenness

SHAMOKIN - Chad Wiest and Tylor Zak, both of 553 N. Second St., Shamokin, were cited by Patrolman Nathan Rhodes for disorderly conduct and harassment involving a fight at 3:05 a.m. Monday at Sixth and Chestnut streets.

Retail theft

SHAMOKIN - Brandon Lee Strausser, 32, of 1257 1/2 Pulaski Ave., Coal Township, was cited by Patrolman Scott Weaver for retail theft for attempting to steal cigars from Puff Tobacco store on Independence Street at 12:05 p.m. Aug. 11.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - Shane M. Hart, 25, of 1001 E. Dewart St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Mark Costa for disorderly conduct after entering the home of Corena Reid, of 109 W. Commerce St., and falling asleep on a chair while intoxicated at 5:25 a.m. Saturday.

Harassment

SHAMOKIN - Marilyn Black, 66, of 250 N. Market St., Elysburg, and Susan Bixler, 46, of 6 N. Coal St., Shamokin, were cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for harassment involving a disturbance at Bixler's residence at 12:49 p.m. Aug. 19.

Police reported Black punched Bixler in the face, while Bixler is accused of shoving and punching Black, causing injury.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - Glen A. Shurock Jr., 21, of 815 E. Sunbury St., was cited by Patrolman Raymond Siko II for disorderly conduct relating to a May 15 disturbance at his residence.

Police said Kristin Klinger, 23, of the same address, was the victim.
