Harassment

KULPMONT - Robert N. Searls, 18, of 914 N. Vine St., Shamokin, was cited by Officer Patrick McAndrew for harassment for allegedly slapping another male several times in the face at Kulpmont Community Park Sunday.

Police did not identify the victim.

Motorcyclist hurt

WALKER TOWNSHIP - State police at Frackville reported Mark Goff, 39, of Jim Thorpe, suffered serious injuries Sunday night when his motorcycle struck an embankment and flipped several times along Valley Road, approximately one-half mile west of Mountain Road in this Schuylkill County township.

Trooper Matthew Barrett said Goff was driving a black 2006 Honda CBR west at a high rate of speed at 6:12 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a slight left curve. The motorcycle then exited the right lane and traveled onto the shoulder of the road before hitting an embankment and flipping several times before coming to rest in the middle of the road.

Goff was flown by helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, where he was listed in critical condition Monday.

His cycle sustained extensive damage and was removed from the scene by family members.

Barrett said Goff will be cited for failing to drive in a single lane, driving at an unsafe speed, driving under suspension, careless driving and driving without proper inspection.

Scattering rubbish

MOUNT CARMEL - A 16-year-old Shamokin juvenile was cited by Patrolman William Adamski for scattering rubbish at 5 p.m. Aug. 1.

Police said the teen threw garbage from a vehicle on South Poplar Street.

Woman cited

MOUNT CARMEL - Chief of Police Todd Owens cited Monique L. Korte, 32, of 429 N. Market St., Mount Carmel, for scattering rubbish for depositing household items and clothing on the property of L&J Automotive in the 300 block of North Market Street Aug. 2.

Criminal mischief

MOUNT CARMEL - Jason L. Colahan, 35, and Ruth J. Schnee, 53, both of 1125 Market St., Ashland, were cited by Patrolman Matthew Dillman for criminal mischief for damaging the property of Natasha Spotts at 236 S. Oak St. Aug. 2.

Police said Colahan and Schnee damaged an air conditioner, bed sheet and picture frame, pushed over furniture and dumped baby formula in the residence.

Disorderly conduct

MOUNT CARMEL - Jason Dillow, 30, of 434 N. Walnut St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman Matthew Dillman for disorderly conduct involving an incident at 2:30 a.m. June 24 at Fourth and Poplar streets.

Police said Dillow is accused of striking a vehicle owned by Margaret Troutman before leaving the scene.

Harassment

MOUNT CARMEL - Lisa Ann Karlaza, 46, of 21 Back St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman Justin Stelma for harassment for screaming at Aaron Fritz and Renee Gasper, of 302 W. Fig St., Mount Carmel, and calling them names.

Disorderly conduct

MOUNT CARMEL - Patrolman Justin Stelma cited Amber N. Eisenhard, 21, of 214 W. Second St., Berwick, for harassment and disorderly conduct involving a disturbance at 3 p.m. Aug. 10 at Turkey Hill Minit Market.

Police reported Eisenhard struck Bryonna Dusendschine in the face while she was sitting in her vehicle.

Disorderly conduct

MOUNT CARMEL - Daniel A. Snyder, 28, of 507 W. Olive St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman Matthew Dillman for disorderly conduct in connection with a disturbance at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at his residence, where he's accused of making unreasonable noise.

Harassment

MOUNT CARMEL - Jeffery B. Johnson, of 346 Beech St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Lt. Christopher Buhay for harassment relating to an incident at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 16.

Police said Johnson allegedly pushed Christina Johnson through the front screen door at their residence.

Cruelty to animals

MOUNT CARMEL - Robert P. Savidge, 48, of 27 S. Maple St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman Jason Drumheller for cruelty to animals.

Police said Savidge failed to properly take care of a dog he had at his residence.

Public drunkenness

MOUNT CARMEL - Eric Carmen, 31, of Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Jason Drumheller for public drunkenness involving an Aug. 16 incident at Fifth and Oak streets.

Police said Carmen was found lying on the ground at 1 a.m.

Disorderly conduct

MOUNT CARMEL - Shawn M. Soliday, of 10 S. Vine St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Justin Stelma for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he was observed intoxicated and urinating on the sidewalk in the first block of North Oak Street at 3:41 a.m. Saturday.

Retail theft

COAL TOWNSHIP - Kyle Dunkelberger, 28, of 331 W. Market St., Trevorton, will be cited by Coal Township police for retail theft as a result of an incident at Walmart Supercenter at 4:37 p.m. Aug. 19.

Police said Dunkelberger placed a stereo amp kit and other smaller stereo items valued at $130.68 in a shopping bag and attempted to leave the store without paying for them.

Hit and run

COAL TOWNSHIP - Angela Bernas-Miller, 44, of 1607 W. Independence St., Coal Township, told police her 2002 Chevrolet was struck by another vehicle while parked near her residence between 7 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run accident is urged to call Coal Township police at 644-0333.

Scattering rubbish

COAL TOWNSHIP - Bradley Earhart, 44, of 1727 Park Ave., Coal Township, will be cited by Coal Township police for scattering rubbish for depositing his garbage in a Dumpster in the 1000 block of West Arch Street rented by James Kelley.

Police said Earhart placed several bags of garbage in the Dumpster at 4:45 a.m. Aug. 19.

DUI checkpoint

MILTON - State police at Milton will conduct a DUI checkpoint this week or early September at an undisclosed location.
