Hit and run

ELYSBURG - Ralpho Township police seek information on the driver of a vehicle that drove through the front lawn of 672 W. Center St. about 9:40 p.m. Friday and crashed into a mailbox.

The driver fled the scene west on West Center Street, dragging the mailbox post behind. The property's front and side lawns were damaged.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 570-672.9892.

Hit and run 2

COAL TOWNSHIP - A motorist damaged the driver side of a 2014 Toyota Rav4 owned by Tammy Hughes, of Coal Township, while it was parked at the Fairview Gun Club between 5 and 10:55 p.m. Saturday. The hit-and-run vehicle should also have damage on its driver side. Anyone with information is asked to call Coal Township police at 570-644-0333.

2 injured

SUNBURY - A motorcyclist lost control of his 2014 Star 1300 V-Star while attempting a U-turn near Sunbury Community Hospital on Saturday, causing injury to both he and his passenger.

Kevin A. Rossman, 48, was traveling east on 11th Street near Reagan Street about 12:15 p.m. when the motorcycle struck loose gravel and fell onto its side, according to state police at Stonington.

Rossman suffered a minor injury. Shannon L. Rossman, 44, of Auburn, suffered a moderate injury, police said. She was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Both were wearing helmets.

Kevin Rossman was cited for a safe speeds violation.
