Conyngham Twp. crash
CONYNGHAM TOWNSHIP - Two people were treated for injuries following a rollover accident shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday on Route 61 approximately two miles north of Centralia near the Northumberland County line.
Police said Kasey Starr, 22, of Ashland, was driving north toward Mount Carmel when he lost control of his car, which rolled over in a grassy area on the east berm.
Starr and a passenger, Tianna Stayathome, of Mount Carmel, were taken by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where they were both treated and released, according to a nursing supervisor.
In addition to police, responding were emergency personnel from Mount Carmel, Centralia and Aristes.
Car fire
ELYSBURG - Members of Elysburg and Ralpho fire companies were summoned to extinguish a car fire at 1:16 p.m. Sunday at East Market and Monastery Road.
A sedan reportedly sustained extensive damage.
Fire personnel were on the scene for about 45 minutes.
