GPS stolen
TREVORTON - State police at Stonington reported someone removed a Tom-Tom GPS, hunting knife, binoculars and loose change from a vehicle owned by Delmar Thomas Foulds, 64, of 140 E. Market St., Trevorton, between Saturday and Monday near his home.
Anyone with information about the theft is urged to call state police at 570-286-5601.
Two-vehicle crash
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning at the intersection of Route 61 and Old Reading Road.
State police at Stonington said Virginia B. Hertzog, 76, of Paxinos, was driving a 2007 school bus at 7:21 a.m. when she attempted to make a right turn from Old Reading Road onto Route 61 and struck the passenger side rear quarter panel of a 2003 Ford Focus driven north on Route 61 by Kayla M. Gordon, 17, of Sunbury.
Both drivers and Gordon's passenger, Tiffany L. Gordon, 14, of Sunbury, escaped injury.
An investigation is continuing.
Forgery
COAL TOWNSHIP - Shane Hart, 25, of Dewart Street, Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Joshua Wynn with forgery, criminal use of a communication facility and theft by deception.
Police said Hart paid for pizza from Dominos Pizza in Coal Township with a counterfeit $50 bill Jan. 13.
On Jan. 31, Hart turned himself in to the office of Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III, where he was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
Police warned businesses and the public to be aware of counterfeit money circulating in the area. Anyone receiving counterfeit money should contact their local police department.
Underage drinking
EAST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - Two 15-year-old females and two 16-year-old females from Shamokin were cited by state police at Stonington for underage drinking relating to an incident Friday on Foura Road.
Police said the teens were found to have consumed alcohol between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.
SUV hits pole
UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington reported Andrea M. Carman, 18, of Northumberland, was injured Monday afternoon when her 2000 Subaru Outback crashed into a PennDOT traffic sign and sheared off a utility pole off Snydertown Road.
Police said Carman lost control of the car on the snow-covered road at 3:30 p.m. She was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
Police said they did not know the severity of Carman's injury.
Weather related
SUNBURY - No injuries were reported in a weather-related accident Monday morning along Route 147 just south of the city.
According to state police at Stonington, Dara Michelle Scheidler, 36, of 140 Water St., Dalmatia, was driving south at 6:15 a.m. when she lost control of her white Ford Focus that struck a concrete barrier on the northbound shoulder before continuing south in the northbound lane and hitting a green Dodge Durango operated by Gary Lynn Ernest, 50, of 580 Mile Run Road, Sunbury.
Police said charges are pending against Scheidler.
Truck hit sign
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - Emma J. Ferster, 55, of Sunbury, escaped injury Monday morning when she lost control of her 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck on snow-covered Captain Bloom Road and struck a street sign and utility pole.
State police at Stonington reported the accident occurred at 9:07 a.m. near Plum Creek Road.
Ferster's car was towed from the scene by Paul's Towing.
Charges are pending against Ferster, police said.
Down embankment
WEST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - A 1993 Mercury Villager operated by John Parker, 63, sustained moderate damage Monday morning along Route 2044 near Blacks Lane when it exited the eastbound lane and descended a small embankment.
State police at Stonington said the accident occurred at approximately 8 a.m.
Police did not list an address for Parker.
Jeep hits pole
JACKSON TOWNSHIP - Lori Stiely, of Red Cross Road, Dornsife, suffered a moderate injury at 9 a.m. Monday when the 2001 Jeep Cherokee in which she was traveling south on Route 225 near Route 147 slid on the snow-covered highway and struck a telephone pole.
The Jeep Cherokee sustained moderate damage.
Drug charge
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - Zachary David Zablosky, 29, of Shamokin, has been charged by Trooper Daniel Wilk of state police at Stonington with possession of drug paraphernalia relating to a non-reportable accident shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday on Route 61 south of Durdach's.
Police said a glass marijuana smoking device was found on Zablosky.
Car hits guide rail
RUSH TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington reported Kenneth Lewis, 31, of Danville, escaped injury Monday morning when his 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt struck guide rail on the south berm of Route 54 near Kaboodle Road.
Lewis' car sustained disabling damage in the 10:28 a.m. accident.
DUI
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - Sheldon A. Derck, 49, of 133 Academy St., Shamokin, was arrested by state police at Stonington for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance relating to a non-reportable accident at 9:19 p.m. Monday on Route 61 south of Route 487.
One-car crash
JORDAN TOWNSHIP - Nicole M. Barry, 23, of Elizabethville, suffered a head injury in a one-car crash Sunday morning along Klingerstown Road and was transported by Life Team personnel to a Harrisburg area hospital.
State police at Stonington reported Barry was a passenger in a 2004 Kia Optima operated by Adam L. Caster II, 18, of Klingerstown. Caster and another passenger, Steven J. Bolig, 22, of Dalmatia, escaped injury.
Police said Caster was traveling west at 2:47 a.m. when his car traveled across both lanes of the road and struck an embankment on the south side of the road. After initial impact, the auto continued traveling along the embankment and hit a tree before traveling back across the highway and entering a field before stopping.
The car sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Caster was cited for failing to keep his car on the road. He and Barry also were cited for failing to wear a seat belt.
Vandalism
TREVORTON - Police here reported someone broke into a soda machine at the Zerbe Township Rod & Gun Club on Sportsman Road between Jan. 25 and 27.
It is unknown if any money was removed from the machine, which sustained moderate damage.

Warning issued
ZERBE TOWNSHIP - Zerbe Township Police Chief Robert John warned residents to lock their vehicles and homes and remove any valuables from their vehicles when they are parked and unattended.
Citations issued
COAL TOWNSHIP - George Atiyeh, of Allentown, a landlord for several local properties, was cited twice Jan. 31 by Code Enforcement Officer Chris Petrovich for failing to report the occupancy status for properties he owns at 1046 W. Arch St. and 1050 W. Arch St.
