Domestic dispute

COAL TOWNSHIP - Thomas Hawk, 49, of 1143 W. Fern St., Coal Township, is charged by Patrolman Joshua M. Wynn with simple assault and harassment related to a domestic dispute Saturday.

According to police, Hawk and his girlfriend, Melissa Twist, 40, were arguing inside a vehicle near Montgomery and Cedar streets when he allegedly pushed her out of the vehicle, causing injury to her left arm.

Hawk was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III, Shamokin, and remanded to Northumberland County Prison, Sunbury, in lieu of $7,500 bail.

No injuries

SHAMOKIN DAM - No injuries were reported as a result of a two-vehicle crash at 10:05 a.m. Monday on Routes 11 and 15 near the entrance to McDonald's.

State police at Selinsgrove report a 2007 Subaru Outback, driven by Dezirae R. Dreese, 20, of Selinsgrove, hit the back of a 2004 Freightliner M2 truck, driven by Bryan P. Sokoloskie, 29, of Elysburg, that had stopped for traffic.

Neither driver was injured in the crash, and police cited Dreese for following too closely.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - Leroy Lebo, 30, and Renee Austerberry, 27, both of 135 N. Marshall St., Shamokin, were cited by Cpl. Bryan Primerano for disorderly conduct.

Police said they were arguing about prescription medication at 5:55 a.m. Monday, and several items inside the home were smashed.

Parked car struck

COAL TOWNSHIP - No injuries were reported in a two-car crash at 1:40 p.m. Monday on Maple Street near Walnut Street.

Township police say Tina Schoeneberger, 48, of 1305 W. Walnut St., was traveling south on Maple Street in a 1995 GMC vehicle when it slid on the snow-covered hill and struck a parked 2009 Dodge Journey, owned by Tracy Leiby, of 1001 W. Walnut St.

Both vehicles sustained minor front end damage.
