Tavern cited
TREVORTON - The owners of The Bowery, 400 W. Market St., were cited by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for an alleged noise violation on Sept. 28. The citation was issued Thursday.
Harassment
SNYDERTOWN - David Edward Roush Jr., 41, of Northumberland, will be charged for harassment by state Trooper Daniel J. Wilk for allegedly leaving "unwanted voice messages" on the answering machine of Alvin D. Yoder, 59, of Sunbury, about 8:47 p.m. Sunday, according to a public information release from state police at Stonington.
Retail thefts
COAL TOWNSHIP - Two Mount Carmel Township men will be charged by Coal Township Patrolman Matthew J. Hashuga with retail theft for allegedly stealing from Walmart in separate incidents last month.
David Balonis, 54, of Strong, is accused of stealing $815.60 in merchandise between Dec. 10 and Dec. 19.
David DiSciullo, 27, of Atlas, is accused of stealing $545.66 in merchandise on Dec. 23.
