Public drunkenness

COAL TOWNSHIP - Chanda Hine, 38, of 1446 Pulaski Ave., Coal Township, will be cited by Coal Township police for public drunkenness involving a disturbance at 7:52 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Montgomery and Cedar streets.

Police said Hine was under the influence of alcohol to the degree she endangered herself and others.

Scattering rubbish

COAL TOWNSHIP - Patrolman Chad Yoder has cited David Seger, 53, of Shamokin, for scattering rubbish for stacking several dozen tires on land owned by Susquehanna Coal Company in the Bunker Hill area.

Drug charge

PENN TOWNSHIP - Michael A. Welsh, 23, of Selinsgrove, was charged by state police at Selinsgrove with possession of heroin contraband in connection with an incident Saturday along Creek Road in this Snyder County township.

Steals BB gun

SHAMOKIN DAM - State police at Selinsgrove cited a 14-year-old boy for retail theft for allegedly stealing a BB gun from the Dollar General at 4:10 p.m. Sunday.

Retail theft

MONROE TOWNSHIP - A 13-year-old girl was cited by state police at Selinsgrove for retail theft after she allegedly left Claire's Boutique at the Susquehanna Valley Mall at 7 p.m. Saturday without paying for several earrings.

DUI

SELINSGROVE - Blake Alexander Porter, 20, of Sunbury, was charged by state police at Selinsgrove with driving under the influence of alcohol and related offenses involving a vehicle stop for an expired registration on North Market Street near Sassafras Street at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 20.
