Two passengers injured
COAL TOWNSHIP - Two passengers experienced minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Route 225 and Klinger Avenue, according to Coal Township Police Department.
Patrolman Chad Yoder said Jeremy McIntyre, 27, of Coal Township, was pulling from Klinger Avenue onto Route 225 in a 2004 Ford F-150 when he entered the southbound path of a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 operated by Catherine Snyder, 36, of Trevorton.
Neither driver was injured, but Snyder's passengers, a 17-year-old Coal Township boy, and Ed Yoder, 18, of Coal Township, experienced minor injuries. They were transported to Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital by AREA Services for further evaluation, police said.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation, police said.
Public nuisance
SHAMOKIN - The following property owners were cited Wednesday by Cpl. Bryan Primerano of Shamokin Police Department for creating a public nuisance:
- Jhoel Leonardo, of 13201 95th St., S. Richmond Hill, N.Y., was cited because his property at 625 E. Commerce St., Shamokin, is in danger of collapsing and materials are falling from the building.
- Ola A. Adedeji, of 204-206 W. Mulberry St., Shamokin, was cited because his building is in danger of collapsing and materials are falling from the building.
- Keith David Musser, of 114 Susquehanna Drive, Sunbury, was cited because his building at 624-626 W. Mulberry St. is in danger of collapsing and materials are falling from the building.
