Criminal mischief
TREVORTON - Brent Bartholomew, of Trevorton, was cited for criminal mischief by state police at Stonington following an incident at 932 W. Coal St., at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Police reported that Bartholomew allegedly broke the screen of a laptop computer owned by Kirsten Wynn, of Trevorton, during the incident. The computer is valued at approximately $400 and the citation was filed with Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III of Shamokin.
Abandoned vehicle
SHAMOKIN - Brandon A. Franzyshen, 22, of 715 N. Vine St., Apt. A, Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Mark Costa for violating the city's abandoned vehicle ordinance relating to an Aug. 28 incident on Eighth Street near Lincoln Street.
Police said Franzyshen's vehicle had an expired registration and inspection.
Harassment
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - Timothy D. Alexander, 34, of 3930 Route 61, Sunbury, was charged with harassment following an altercation at his residence at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
State police at Stonington say Alexander allegedly struck the victim, James E. Buckles, 43, of 27 Johns St., Sunbury, on the face with a closed fist.
The charge was filed with Magisterial District Judge Benjamin J. Apfelbaum of Sunbury.
Fight charges
SHAMOKIN - Timothy M. Nye, 29, of 52 S. First St., Coal Township, was cited by Cpl. Darwin Tobias III for harassment and disorderly conduct involving a fight at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday at the Home Plate, 4 S. Second St.
Debit card fraud
SUNBURY - Cynthia Lee Header, 67, of Comfort Road, Sunbury, reported to state police at Stonington that at approximately 5 p.m. Sept. 16, several charges were made on her Visa debit card without her permission or knowledge.
Endangers children
RALPHO TOWNSHIP - Dawn M. McCann, 36, and her brother, Kenneth D. Baylis, 46, both of 228 W. Walnut St., Shamokin, were charged by Patrolman Christopher Grow with endangering the welfare of children and public drunkenness involving a fight at 3:40 a.m. Friday in the parking lot at Sheetz on South Market Street in Elysburg.
Baylis also was charged with failing to have a 3-year-old child restrained in a car seat while McCann was charged with disorderly conduct.
Drug charges
RALPHO TOWNSHIP - Charges of criminal mischief, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia were filed by Patrolman Christopher Grow against Jarred S. Derck, 29, of Ashland, relating to a March 29 incident at Miller's Gas and Oil along Route 61 at Weigh Scales.
Police reported Derck kicked a rear door at the business and was found in possession of six bags of heroin, syringes and packing for heroin.
Assault
KULPMONT - Vincent T. Crosby, 49, of 702 Spruce St., Kulpmont, was charged by Patrolman Patrick McAndrew with aggravated assault, simple assault, two counts of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment involving a domestic disturbance at 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Upon responding to the disturbance involving Crosby and his wife, Helena, police said the defendant became combative and had to be handcuffed after approaching McAndrew in an aggressive manner. Police said Vincent Crosby also kicked McAndrew in the left side of the jaw as the officer was waiting for assistance.
