Montour crash
WASHINGTONVILLE - A Coal Township man crashed into a parked car along Water Street (Route 54) Sept. 12 in this Montour County borough and escaped injury, according to state police at Milton.
William T. Portzline, 26, was driving a 1997 Dodge Dakota east near Peach Alley at 11:23 p.m. when he reportedly swerved to the right and drove into a 2006 Ford Focus. Both vehicles were disabled as a result, police said.
Police said he was wearing a seat belt.
Portzline was cited with careless driving and roadways laned for traffic.

COAL TOWNSHIP - A Northumberland man crashed while driving west on Route 54 near Aqua Pennsylvania water company about 12:58 p.m. Tuesday.
Coal Township Police said Michael Gray, 46, was driving a 1995 Ford Contour at 12:58 p.m. Tuesday when he crossed over the eastbound lanes for an unknown reason and struck a guide rail, then crossed back over the highway and struck another guide rail where the vehicle came to rest.
Police said he was not injured. His vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed.
Gray will be cited for careless driving, police said.
