Charger stolen

COAL TOWNSHIP - Jessica Miller, 29, of 1709 Pulaski Ave., Coal Township, told police someone removed a cell phone charger from her Ford truck late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

Police said the theft occurred near Miller's residence.

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact police at 644-0333.

Sales to minors

MOUNT CARMEL - Shaulinski's, 201-203 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, was cited Aug. 8 by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling liquor and/or malt or brewed beverages to a minor on July 5.

The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation of the licensee based on the severity of the charge and can mandate training for the licensee.
