Theft
COAL TOWNSHIP - Nathan Reigle, 36, of Coal Township, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole a 1989 Harley Davidson Sportster owned by David Deitrich, of Coal Township.
Township Patrolman Chad Yoder said Reigle is accused of taking the vehicle from a lot in the 800 block of West State Street between the evening hours of July 2 and the morning of July 3.
Reigle was arraigned via video by District Judge John Gembic, of Shamokin, at 10:38 a.m. July 10 after being picked up on a warrant.
He was transported to Northumberland County Prison after failing to post $15,000 cash bail.
Teen escapes
COAL TOWNSHIP - A 17-year-old boy from Stroudsburg was charged with escape for allegedly running out the front door of a boot camp building at Northwestern Academy at 4:15 a.m. May 26, according to Coal Township Police.
Patrolman Chris Lapotsky said the teen was located five days later on May 31 in Bethlehem by Bethlehem Police Department.
Charges were filed with Northumberland County Juvenile Services.
Teens sought
SUNBURY - Sunbury Police Department was searching Thursday to locate two juveniles who were last seen in the early morning hours Thursday at their residences in the city.
Sgt. Christopher Blase said Joseph Theis, 16, is a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes; he is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighs 120 pounds. Blase said Christopher Reicher, 15, is a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes; he is 5 feet, 10 inches, and weighs 120 pounds.
They are believed to be traveling together, police said.

Occupancy violation
COAL TOWNSHIP - George Atiyeh, of Apartments and Acquisitions LP, 1102 Fullerton Ave., Allentown, was cited July 8 and July 9 for violating a township ordinance concerning occupancy permits and reporting the status of occupancy, according to the Coal Township Police Department.
Patrolman Chris Petrovich said the properties in question are 1008 W. Lynn St. and 1224 Pulaski Ave., both in Coal Township.
No one hurt
UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - Two drivers escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident at 7:50 a.m. Thursday on Sunbury Street (Route 4012) at its intersection with Black Mill Road, according to state police at Stonington.
Trooper David Townsend said Daniel N. Zuckerman, 19, of Mecklenburg, N.Y., was traveling west on Route 4012 in a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban when he attempted to turn the vehicle left onto Black Mill Road.
His Suburban was struck by a 2007 Ford Focus being driven east on Route 4012 by Andrew C. Bingaman, 24, of Sunbury, police said.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, police said.
Zuckerman was cited for failing to yield the right of way to a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction.
