SUV scratched
COAL TOWNSHIP - William Romanoski, 65, of 1151 W. Mulberry St., reported that someone scratched his 1997 Ford Explorer while it was parked near his home on Locust Street between July 1 and Monday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 644-0333.
Parts stolen
JACKSON TOWNSHIP - Roy Adams, of Sunbury, the owner of Used Truck Parts of Pennsylvania, 1423 Mandata Road, reported to state police at Stonington that someone used force to enter his business and removed 15 large truck radiators and air chargers between 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the investigation continues.
Crash
MILLERSBURG - A Sunbury man refused medical treatment after crashing into an embankment along Route 147 on Monday in Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County, according to state police at Lykens.
Police say Truman W. Erdley, 50, was driving a 1988 Buick north about 4 p.m. when he swerved into the southbound lane and crashed near railroad tracks. Erdley told police that he swerved to avoid an unknown object that rolled down a hill.
Erdley will be cited for failing to stay in his lane of travel and for not wearing a seat belt. His vehicle was towed.
