Driver not injured
NORTHUMBERLAND - A Sunbury driver who lost control of his vehicle and struck three parked cars May 11 was not injured, according to state police at Stonington.
Trooper David Townsend reported that Michael J. Lauver, 23, was traveling east at noon on Race Street between Fifth and Sixth streets in a 1997 Suzuki Sidekick when he struck a Mazda 8, a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta and a 2004 Dodge Neon that were all parked on the right side of the roadway.
Lauver came to final rest in the middle of the roadway after hitting all three vehicles, police said.
He was wearing his seatbelt, and he will be cited for a traffic violtion, police said.
