WILLIAMSPORT - The District Enforcement Office, which is part of the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, received 66 complaints and conducted eight age compliance checks at licensed establishments in April.
Twenty-four citations were issued for underage drinking and nine citations were issued for other violations.
The office issued five violation letters and seven warning letters for violations of liquor laws.
Officers assigned to the office are charged with enforcing liquor laws and related provisions at over 868 establishments licensed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in Bradford, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga and Union counties.
Retail theft
SELINSGROVE - Lorraine Rivera-Roman, 33, and Veronica Cruz-Miranda, 30, both of Sunbury, were cited by state police at Selinsgrove for retail theft for allegedly attempting to steal clothing and oral health care products valued at $166.78 from Wal-Mart at 8:38 p.m. Monday.
Dog attack
MOUNT CARMEL - Joan M. Cicchiello, 62, of 35 West Avenue, Mount Carmel, was cited by Officer Jason Drumheller for violating a borough ordinance involving dogs running at large.
Police said a resident reported that Cicchiello's German Shepherd attacked her while she was in her backyard in the first block of West Avenue at 8:39 p.m. May 6.
Trespasser
MOUNT CARMEL - Eric C. Bizzarro, 23, of 48 S. Vine St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman Jason Drumheller for simple trespass relating to an incident at 8:38 p.m. May 2 at Tower Sales Convenience Store, 120 W. Third St.
Police said Bizzarro, who was previously banned from the business, was spotted on store grounds.
Public drunkenness
MOUNT CARMEL - Officer Jason Drumheller has cited Marie Elena Derr, 48, of 443 W. Sixth St., Mount Carmel, for public drunkenness.
Police said Derr was found by police intoxicated while lying at the intersection of Poplar and Butternut streets at 11:44 p.m. May 3.

MOUNT CARMEL - Patrolman William Spickler has cited James Doak, 44, of Mount Carmel, for public drunkenness relating to an incident at 1:13 a.m. Monday in which he allegedly pushed another male in front of a police car in the 300 block of East Fifth Street.

MOUNT CARMEL - Cpl. David Donkochik has cited Albert Anthony Lotis Jr., 58, of 137 West Avenue, Mount Carmel, for public drunkenness.
Police said a motorist found Lotis lying on the sidewalk at Avenue and Maple Street at 1:25 a.m. May 2.
Police said Lotis was highly intoxicated and couldn't get up without assistance or walk on his own.
Intoxicated male
MOUNT CARMEL - Gerald L. Shivelhood, 47, of 229 W. Girard St., Atlas, was cited by Cpl. David Donkochik for public drunkenness relating to an incident at 2:47 a.m. May 2 in the 200 block of Railroad Street.
Police said Shivelhood was found to be extremely intoxicated while leaning on a fence.
Two-vehicle accident
COAL TOWNSHIP - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at 8:10 p.m. Sunday along Route 225 near Klinger Avenue.
Patrolman Joshua Wynn said Natasha Noll, 19, of 615 W. Pine St., Shamokin, was driving a 2006 Pontiac sedan and pulled onto Route 225 into the path of a 2004 Chevy truck operated by Raymond Pauzer, 42, of 1318 W. Mulberry St., Coal Township. Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene by Jeff's Towing and Jeff's Auto Body.
Noll was cited for entering the roadway without yielding to oncoming traffic.

Conditions update
DANVILLE - Two people injured in separate accidents last week have been reportedly discharged from Geisinger Medical Center.
A hospital spokeswoman said Tuesday that Evelyn Klemanski, of Elysburg, and Zachary Merlo, 15, of Mount Carmel, are no longer on the hospital's patient list, indicating both accident victims were most likely discharged.
Klemanski, who was injured in a three-vehicle crash May 6 on Route 61 in Weigh Scales, had been listed last week in serious condition. Merlo, who was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Geisinger after being injured in a dirt bike accident May 6 underneath the Viaduct in Diamondtown, had been listed in fair condition.
