Paintball hits window
SNYDERTOWN - State police at Stonington reported someone fired a paintball that struck a front window at the residence of Leann Drumheller, 47, of Freidline Road, Snydertown, shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
The paintball left an orange residue on the window, police said.
Public drunkenness
COAL TOWNSHIP - Andre A. Stone, 30, of 612 E. Commerce St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Christopher Lapotsky for public drunkenness relating to an incident at 3:53 a.m. Jan. 26 in which he was found walking in the middle of Route 61 near Burger King.
Police said Stone was disoriented and under the influence of alcohol in sub-freezing temperatures.
Criminal mischief
SHAMOKIN - Belinda Smith, 20, of 18 E. Railroad St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman Scott Weaver for criminal mischief for allegedly dropping a bottle of soda that splashed onto a vehicle owned by Judy Jones, of 101 N. Rock St., Shamokin, and a neighbor's house.
Police said the incident occurred at 5:15 p.m. Sunday outside 101 N. Rock St.
Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN - Jack A. McKeen III, 41, of 1110 W. Lynn St., Coal Township, was cited by Patrolman Raymond Siko II for disorderly conduct for allegedly jumping onto the hood of a moving vehicle and screaming at its operator, Earl Sheriff, 59, of 911 W. Arch St., Coal Township, at 9:23 a.m. Saturday on Second Street near Water Street.
Mailbox smashed
RUSH TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington reported someone smashed the mailbox of Randy Allen Kile, 50, of 31 Murphy Road, between 8 and 9 p.m. Sunday before fleeing the scene.
Smoke in structure
MARION HEIGHTS - Firefighters from Marion Heights, Kulpmont and Mount Carmel responded to a report of smoke coming from 560 E. Melrose St. at 1:30 p.m. Monday, but no fire reportedly was discovered.
Firefighters were in service for about 30 minutes.
Also responding were local fire police and AREA Services Ambulance.
Pedestrian critical
ALLENTOWN - Joshua Rivera, 19, of Philadelphia, who was seriously injured Sunday morning when hit by a car at the intersection of Route 61 and University Drive in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, was listed Monday in critical condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Condition updates
DANVILLE - A Mount Carmel man injured two weeks ago in a head-on crash on Natalie Mountain is in serious condition at Geisinger Medical Center.
Glenn Meredith, 52, of Mount Carmel, was injured Feb. 4 on Route 54 near Strong. He had been in critical condition for much of the time he was hospitalized.
Renee Austerberry, 27, of Shamokin, is in fair condition. She was injured Feb. 9 after crashing on Route 61 between Saint Clair and Frackville in Schuylkill County. She had been in serious condition.
Yazeed Azar, 50, of Shenandoah, was released from the hospital Saturday. He was injured Feb. 11 after crashing through a cemetery maintenance shed in Aristes.
Cheryl Tanney, of Mount Carmel, was released Friday. She was injured Feb. 9 after crashing on Route 54 near Bear Gap Road in Ralpho Township.
