Hit-and-run crash
COAL TOWNSHIP - Police continue to investigate a hit-and-run accident sometime between 4:15 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday on Arch Street.
Diane Kerstetter, 66, of Coal Township, told police someone struck her 2007 Jeep Cherokee while it was parked on the eastbound shoulder of Arch Street. The impact caused moderate damage to the Jeep's driver side bumper and fender and pushed the vehicle against the curb.

Criminal mischief
MONROE TOWNSHIP - Leah M. Snyder, 22, of Northumberland, told state police at Selinsgrove someone scratched her vehicle and placed garbage in the door handles and under the windshield wipers while it was parked at the Susquehanna Valley Mall between 3 and 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
