Harassment
DERRY TOWNSHIP - Michael J. Martz, 39, of Danville, was cited for harassment by state police at Milton following an incident at 41 Blue Springs Terrace, Derry Township, at 10:22 p.m. Saturday.
Police say that Martz and Joshua Green, 20, of Hughesville, engaged in an argument, during which time Martz allegedly pushed Green into the side of a vehicle. The citation was filed with Magisterial District Judge Marvin K. Shrawder, of Danville.
Items stolen from vehicle
WEST CHILLISQUAQUE TOWNSHIP - State police at Milton reported someone entered an unlocked 1997 Chevy Lumina owned by Robert Lee Merrill, 26, of Montandon, and stole an MP3 player, $20 from the victim's wallet and his key chain containing approximately 15 keys that was left in the vehicle's ignition.
Police said the theft occurred between 10 p.m. Monday and 4:55 a.m. Tuesday at 174 Atlantic Avenue in the Modern Way Trailer Court.
Car hits pole, tree
COAL TOWNSHIP - Lori Kaminski, 47, of 1240 Poplar St., escaped injury Sunday night when she swerved her 1997 Toyota to avoid striking a deer on Route 61 near the Plumbing Outlet, causing her auto to exit the highway and strike a utility pole and tree.
Coal Township police reported Kaminski was traveling north at 7:39 p.m. when she swerved her vehicle to avoid striking a deer. Kaminski's car then rolled over and struck a utility pole while it was in the process of coming back onto its four tires. The car then spun 360 degrees and hit a tree before coming to rest.
Kaminski was wearing a seat belt, police said.
Her vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Jeff's Towing.
Criminal mischief
ARISTES - Eugene Coolbaugh, 42, of Lost Creek, reported to state police at Bloomsburg that at 8:19 p.m. Monday, someone threw rocks at his 2005 Kia Spectra, while it was parked on Route 42, near Route 3006 in Aristes.
Police report the driver's side window and hood was damaged, with police estimating the amount of damage at $700.

DUI
KELLY TOWNSHIP - Ronald Herman Dunkle Jr., 44, of Sunbury, was charged by state police at Milton with driving under the influence of alcohol and several traffic violations relating to a vehicle stop shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Route 15 and Ziegler Road in this Union County township.
